A C&A Learning Game

GridScape

Trace the pressure. Find the boundary. Change the game.

The Rule Everyone Knows

The broken thing is rarely the whole problem.

A visible failure sits inside exchanges, boundaries, and larger conditions. GridScape gives you four moves: patch the object, redirect an exchange, redesign a boundary, or widen the map. Every move can help. Only some stop the failure from returning.

  1. 01What holds it?

Find the enclosing condition projecting pressure inward.

  2. 02What does it hold?

See which smaller systems carry the consequences.

  3. 03Where does the map stop?

Widen the model when the cause remains outside it.

What You Are Learning

Nested Causal Modelling is a way of seeing where intervention belongs.

Object

The visible thing receiving pressure. Repair may be necessary without being sufficient.

Exchange

The path carrying state, energy, information, constraint, or consequence.

Boundary

The condition deciding which exchanges enter, leave, or remain possible.

Enclosure

The larger system that holds the current game and can change its effective rules.
