Map-boundary demonstration
Volume III turns from a model of the world to the boundary of the map. Antarctica becomes a dynamic enclosure exchanging atmosphere, ice, ocean, heat, evidence, access, and historical interpretation with the world around it. The apparent edge becomes an active part of the territory.
Use this volume as a demonstration of boundary auditing: what becomes visible when a geographic and epistemic edge is allowed to act inside the model.
